After that reconstruction started and in the reconstruction artists like Michelangelo, Sangallo the Younger, Peruzzi, Raphael and Bramante took part and died. Michelangelo’s Pieta is within the church.

Trevi Fountain located on Via del Tritone piazza is a beautiful sculpture of sea creatures of the myth amidst cascading waters. It is one of the most popular wishing wells in the world.

Palazzo Barberini is one of the magnificent baroque palaces of Rome. Beautiful Rococo apartments are there and there is the Gallery of Decorative Art within the palace.
